Originally from Montclair, NJ, I have lived in Orlando FL for the last 15 years
with my wife, Mary. My first professional show was in 1967. For over 20 years
I primarily worked with oils and acrylic. Over the last 8 years I have
gravitated back to my first passion, which is line drawing with graphite pencil.
I find the simplicity of a pencil helps me to capture and express life's wide
range of complex emotions. A simple pencil can explore endless shades of gray
found between black and white. Most truth lies in the gray. In life we all
experience bits of pleasure & traces of pain. My art strives to show how as
humans, we are more alike than different.
My goal is to portray life's personal, quiet, and universal, moments in time.
